Another Rig Explosion in the Gulf

Early reports say that the explosion occurring on September 2, 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico occurred 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana, just west of the BP oil spill site. The rig is owned by Houston-based Mariner Energy. Rescue attempts are underway for at least 12 people.
