BP is setting records, just not the ones they should be proud of. The oil giant has come to an agreement with OSHA to pay a record $50.6 million fine for failing to correct safety hazards at its Texas City refinery following the 2005 explosion that killed 15 workers.

Just as BP gears up to defend lawsuits in connection with the Deepwater Horizon explosion and the resulting environmental disaster, another round of lawsuits are filed in response to a benzene leak at BP's Texas City refinery.
